Our Editorial Process
ANNALSOPEN follows a structured editorial workflow to ensure quality, transparency, and efficiency.
- Manuscript Submission: Authors submit their manuscript through the Journal's online submission system.
- Initial Editorial Assessment: The Editorial Office performs an initial screening to evaluate the manuscript's scope, completeness, ethical compliance, and adherence to the Journal's submission guidelines.
- Peer Review: Suitable manuscripts are assigned to independent expert reviewers for scientific evaluation. Reviewer comments assist the editors in reaching an informed editorial decision.
- Editorial Decision: Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the Editor may issue one of the following decisions: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject.
- Revision and Author Response: Where revisions are requested, authors submit a revised manuscript together with responses addressing the reviewers' comments.
- Acceptance: Once all editorial requirements have been satisfactorily addressed, the manuscript is formally accepted for publication.
- Production and Proofing: Accepted manuscripts undergo copyediting, typesetting, proofreading, and final author approval before publication.
- Online Publication: The final version of the article is published online as an Open Access article and becomes immediately available to readers worldwide.
